By profession I am a manager, consultant, trainer. By passion, also a writer.
Since childhood, books have been precious companions for me: places to travel with mind and heart, patient and tireless teachers, trusted friends.
A few years ago I decided to try my hand at writing as well. This blog is mainly about my novels and my adventure in writing them.
The heart of the mountain
NOVEL
It’s 1975, Italy: a country frightened by political terrorism, bombs on trains and in town squares, the first postwar economic crisis, and double-digit inflation.
A group of teenagers gather in a remote valley in South Tyrol to spend two weeks of vacation there. They are ready to have fun, to have a good time as any teenager would want. And, like every teenager, they are also searching for themselves and their place in the world.
But that same world betrays them, confronting them with events too big for them. From teenagers they are transformed in an instant into adults in search of truth. Adults who must learn to overcome a pain that will burn inside them forever and come to terms with the country in which they live, which often seems unable to distinguish right from wrong.
